This is a summary lesson that ties together the unit on quadratics. Students solve a quadratic by factoring and the quadratic formula to find the x-intercepts. They also identify important parts of the graph (aos, y-int, vertex) and graph their function. This helps them see how all of the pieces are related. I use it as a partner quiz.
Each pair needs an 11 x 17 copy of the poster (question page). Print off enough copies of the equations (6 different ones) and give one to each pair. This is the equation they will use on their poster. The equations are differentiated on difficulty so you can give pairs an equation according to their current level of understanding.
