With the help of partners, students will use the graph of a quadratic function to create its equation in vertex form. From the graph, students will list the transformations from the parent function, vertex, axis of symmetry, max/min, domain, range, and intervals of increasing/decreasing. Then, students will develop the equation of the function. (there are reflections and stretch/shrinks included).
This is great to use after students have already been introduced to transformations and basic quadratic functions.
