This is an activity designed to provide the student with practice over quadratic transformations: up, down, right, left, wider, narrower and flip over the x-axis.
Twelve graphs are provided (2 per 8-1/2 x 11 page). Each graph contains the quadratic parent function graphed as a dotted line and another quadratic. On the student answer document, the student records the transformation of the graph as compared to the parent function and then writes the equation of the quadratic.
Transformations begin easy with just one transformation per question (7 questions), then on to two transformations (4 questions) and then finally the last graph has 3 transformations.
The graphs/questions can be hung around the room or just used as task cards. Key included.
