This is a complete lesson which includes a warm up, an activity, a closure, a formative assessment, and a homework assignment (NOTE: Most is found on the other file). The lesson encourages students to investigate a quadratic function. They will be asked to represent the function in at least 3 different ways (equation, graph and table). Then they are challenged by given only the zeros of a function and they must complete the chart (equation, graph, table, max/min). They will do the same when given a max or min value.
