This Activity is Included In: Rectangles, Rhombuses, and Squares Lesson with Homework

Activity Description:
This is a great activity to introduce special quadrilaterals. Students will have the chance to make conjectures about properties of special quadrilaterals while sorting the quadrilateral properties. Additionally, students will start to compare and contrast different quadrilaterals and apply this knowledge when filling out the included quadrilateral chart.

This activity also includes guided questions and questions for discussion before and after the project.

Activity Objectives:
Part 1 – Sort each description card with the correct quadrilateral.
Part 2 – Fill out quadrilateral properties chart.
