There are two activities included in this file, both focusing on the five main types of quadrilaterals: squares, rectangles, rhombuses, trapezoids, and parallelograms.
The first activity is a Cut, Sort, and Paste with different examples of quadrilaterals. Students cut each shape out, sort them on the given sheet, and glue them in the correct place. These shapes also include non-examples, such as a triangle. If printed on cardstock and laminated, you could use this as a center. Or, print regularly and use as an assessment or worksheet. There are color and black and white copies included for your convenience.
The second activity is a worksheet that is perfect for homework or assessment. Half requires students to fill in the blank based on the definition/clue with a word bank. The other side requires students to draw an example of each quadrilateral. You may require them to use a ruler for precision, but that is not included in the directions.
