This eight question exit ticket quickly determines student understanding of qualitative and quantitative observations. The first two questions are multiple choice and they are about the definitions of qualitative and quantitative observations. In the next four questions, students read observations and have to identify them as being either qualitative or quantitative. The last two questions require students to write their own observations about the science classroom.
There are two copies of the same exit ticket on one page so the teacher can reduce copying time and paper waste by printing fewer copies and cutting them in half. A second full page version with larger font is also included. This resource comes with an answer key.
This resource can be purchased at a discount as part of the Qualitative and Quantitative Observations Bundled Science Package
