This dual-sided worksheet has four parts to help students learn and practice the difference between qualitative and quantitative observations in science. The first part has students read an informational paragraph about the two types of observations and answer three questions. In part two students will classify short observations as either qualitative or quantitative. Part three has students identify qualitative and quantitative observations from a student's lab notes. Part four has students give examples of the two types of observations from their everyday lives.
