Product Description
For this lab students will pick 4 objects from around the room and collect 3 qualitative and 3 quantities observations on it. They will need to make sure their qualitative observations involves looking at the quality of the object and use their senses and their quantitative observations should use numbers and involved some type of measurement of the object such as length, width, mass or volume.

This lab has everything you need except for the objects. You can have the students pick their own random objects in the classroom, set out unique and fun things yourself, or ask them to do it as a take home lab and select random things around their home.

The lab is a GREAT way to work on accuracy of data collection, and key differences between qualitative and quantitative data.
