The quality student tracker was developed as a tool for tracking behavior (positive and negative) and to provide a tool for establishing consequences (positive and negative) for students. Each student gets a new tracker each month. The Infraction Key at the bottom should reflect your class/school rules. It is called Quality Student Tracker because ours was developed from Baldrige quality student factors. Every student gets 6 boxes filled in each day. Those boxes may have symbols for negative infractions or stamps/stickers for no infractions. Rewards and consequences can be changed to fit your school policies. Parents love the trackers because instead of knowing a child was "red," they know what the student did. The tracker is great for conferences, developing special education plans, and other situations where concrete data is needed. An example is given on page 2 of the document.
