This worksheet set comes with a color weather map of South America with temperatures in Celsius. The first set of questions are straightforward about the map to give students practice writing weather vocabulary in Spanish. The second page asks students to make a packing list for a vacation to one of the cities, which encourages them to think about clothing vocabulary in relation to weather. You can use one or both worksheets with the map, or even revisit the activity later in the year if you like.
The map is easier to read in color, so you may wish to print and laminate a set that stays with you, or you could project it so everyone can see it. This activity can make a more real-world weather vocab quiz, or you can use it as an oral activity (pairs ask each other questions aloud) or homework assignment.
