I'm a big fan of using small-group games to promote student engagement in my classroom (and, since I teach mostly high schoolers, to make sure that students who finish their work early ALWAYS have something fun and/or constructive to do that DOESN'T involve playing with their cell phones!). Here's one that's seen success with my 7th-10th graders.
This is a quick Memory game that works well in student pairs to review and practice French weather expressions. This packet includes three different game templates (each with 16 cards) and a variety of French phrases to describe weather and climate. As I'm a firm believer in the benefits of language immersion, so you won't see ANY English words or phrases in these games; you WILL, on the other hand, see lots of French phrases and pictures for this matching game! Happy playing!
