Question Fan Bundle - Reading Response Questions and Reflections
This zipped bundle contains 6 of my popular question fan resources for reading: Comprehension Question Fans, Genre Question Fans, Literary Question Fans, Story Elements Question Fans, Reading Reflection Fans for Fiction, and Reading Reflection Fans for Informative Text. If purchased separately, these resources would cost $30.00.
Each question fan resource contains at least 90 different questions and can be used with any book (there is also a page of blank frames for each resource so you can add your own questions). Question strips can be assembled into separate fans with a brad fastener, or can be hole-punched and attached together with a binder ring (clip). Each resource also contains a set of checklists at the end for the teacher or student to keep track of questions asked and answered.
Question fan resources are a perfect addition to your reading classes. They can be used in reading centers, for reading response activities, in guided reading lessons, as discussion prompts for pair/group/or whole class work, quizzes or summative tests. Students can also take ownership over their learning by choosing their own questions to answer.
The question sheets should be printed out on cardstock or on regular paper and laminated for extra durability. Cut out the individual questions and punch a small hole in the end of each question. Questions can then be put together with a brass fastener or a binder ring to keep them together.
