I took one of my classes in to meet the foreign exchange students one time. I was told by the World Languages teacher to make sure the students were prepared to ask some questions or else the conversations would go nowhere. So, I took some time to have my students come up with some, and then I threw most of theirs out because they asked a lot of moronic things. Don't let your students look like morons or not have anything to say. This list of 30 questions will at least get the conversation started.
For an interesting social experiment, give the handout to one class and let another class wing it. It might be funny.
