Description

What is a need of all students? Well, understanding what a question is asking of course! This worksheet can be used as either an independent work sheet, a CFU activity or a quiz.

Words included: Who, what, when, where, which, why & how.

Activities: fill in, matching & writing.

Starts with a question word review - utilizing the same visuals for recall (Page 1)

The first worksheet (page 2) requires students to select from the three question word options given in order to compete the question. It contains images to help students interpret what the question is looking for (i.e., a time, person, reason, etc.). Great for beginner-intermediate ENL/ESL students.

Part 2 (page 3) requires students match the question word to the correct usage by drawing a line.

Part 3 (page 3) has students write two of their own questions.

There is even a bonus question (page 3) that asks students for their best assessment of their teachers favorite color - beginning the answering in complete sentences lesson coming next.
