Questioning is an essential skill for students to master, and having a Question of the Day in your classroom helps students practice this skill in a quick activity while also building a community of learners.
Each monthly bundle provides you with 25 different “yes-or-no” thinking questions, which can be printed in color or in black-and-white. Arrange them in any order you wish for students to answer and display in the classroom (in a t-chart fashion). Students can write or place their name under their answer (and now you’ve also got a clear visual for attendance!). This activity can be used as a quick way to start your day, as a partner discussion activity, or even extended as an independent writing prompt.
This “August” bundle includes:
25 color questions
25 black-and-white questions
Blank slides for you to write your own questions
Sorting cards to write students’ names
