I created these half page Question of the Day graphs as a supplement to Kindergarten Investigations.
Normally, I have created a large graph for the Question of the Day and students record their answer each day as they head off to math workshop. This created some problems....
#1- I ran out of room to display the adorable graphs.
#2- I was not able to connect what we were doing with the students. I wanted a way to personalize the Question of the Day activity.
I created these half sheet recording sheets to answer those questions!
1 : I display the question of the day on the board (using a doc cam) and my students answer the question of the day right on the board.
2: Each student gets a page for their journal (glue down with a glue stick) and records the class results.
3: We use our graphs to practice careful counting, recording numbers 1-20, and comparing numbers. So many possibilities!
It is right in their journal and completely personalized!
Note: If you do not use journals you can copy the
Question of the Day and use them individually. You
could also copy all of them and create a booklet.
I included a cover page for that!
