These graphic organizers are helpful when teaching questioning strategy instruction in comprehension. They support the questioning unit I developed based on the teaching of Debbie Miller (Reading with Meaning) and Anne Harvey and Stephanie Goudvis (Strategies that Work). Teachers can use these pages as whole group organizers, collaborative or partner work, and independent work. They focus on the following objectives:
*Readers ask questions before, during, and after reading.
*Readers find the answers to their questions in the text, from their background knowledge, inferring, or they are unanswered.
*Readers ask thin and thick questions.
