Sometimes teachers need poster prompts too!
This product includes: 54 pages of the six major levels of questioning prompts on posters; desktop versions of powerful thinking words; guides for teacher action goals and student action goals for practicing critical thinking.
Are you wanting to improve your questioning for your students? Are you trying to stretch their minds with higher order thinking questions? Are the questions right on the tip of your tongue and you just can’t get them out?
I always keep a list of critical thinking questions at my desk and on my podium. My problem is I don’t sit at my desk or stand at my podium very often. Teachers are encouraged to move around the room and monitor students as we teach and as they work. So, I decided to create a set of posters to place in my classroom to help me remember all the different ways to question my students and to get them thinking.
These tools are all based and adapted from Bloom’s Taxonomy. The questions can be posted on your wall and the other helpful pages can be placed in your planner, or other prominent locations.
