They address all categories of Bloom’s Taxonomy (knowledge, comprehension, application analysis, synthesis, evaluation) and Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (Recall and Reproduction, Skill/Concept, Strategic Thinking, and Extended Thinking).
Simply project a slide onto your whiteboard using your computer or document camera. Or, print the slides, four to a page, for smaller cards that can be used for individual and small-group activities.
These question stems assist teachers in designing performance tasks, crafting questions for conferring with students, and providing feedback on student work.
