There are activities centered around a mustache theme, that can be used during morning meeting, in small groups, in whole group, or in pairs. Check out the document preview to see what a few of the pages look like!

This document includes:

♥Page 1: Cover Page

♥Page 2: "I Must-ache You" Activity Instructions

♥Pages 3-5: Mustaches and Ears. These are images that include 5 black mustaches, 5 color mustaches, and 5 ears. You can laminate, cut out, and mount these images on sticks to use for the "must-ache" activity.

♥Pages 6-15: I Must-ache You Cards. These question cards can be used during morning meeting, small groups, or in pairs.

♥Pages 16-17: Question and Statement Explanation Posters. The question and statement posters can be hung in your classroom for students to use as a visual aid. These posters help students identify the difference between a question and a statement.

♥Page 18: Question or Statement Activity. This activity is a good way to quickly assess if students are understanding the difference between questions and statements. The teacher will provide the students with an example sentence, and the students will identify what type of sentence they think it is by holding up either the question card, or the statement card.

♥Pages 19-20: Question and Statement Sentence Sort. Students will cut out the example sentences, put the correct punctuation on the end, and sort them (question or statement).

♥Pages 21-24: Asking and Telling about Pictures. Students will look at the pictures provided, and come up with a question and a statement about each one.

♥Pages 25-26: I Mustache You a Question Graphing. Students will ask five classmates a question and graph their answers on the chart provided.

♥Pages 27-28: Question and Statement Mustache Craft. Take a picture of each student with a mustache to use in this craft. Students will work in pairs to ask and answer questions. They will write everything onto the mustache sheet provided, and then will attach their mustache picture to the top. This project makes for a great hallway display!

♥Pages 29-30: Terms of Use and Credit pages.
