Valentine's Day is coming, and this simple but fun game is designed for your short articulation or fluency sessions (5-10 minutes) although it can also be used for longer sessions, too.

Just set a timer and begin drill. After your student says his/her articulation targets or uses fluency strategies to your liking (3 times, 5 times, etc) allow him/her to pick a card. If it’s a PUPPY LOVE CARD, he/she gets to keep it. If it’s one of the wild cards, follow the directions on the card. When the timer rings, the person with the most cards wins!

As an alternate way to play, have students say “Puppy Love" when each card is turned over OR make a sentence about the pup they picked. Perfect for addressing /p/, /l/ or /v/.

* 25 colorful PUPPY LOVE cards and 5 wild cards

* complete list of Valentine's Day themed speech targets for drill {words or phrases sorted by phoneme}. This is the same list included in the Happy Valentine's Day Quick Drill.

Just print, cut, & play (laminate for durability). No wasted paper

Have fun!
