Students make a small moving toy out of inexpensive materials and then perform a quick energy transformation experiment with it. Includes simple materials list, directions, data table, and analysis questions. The activity highlights that the amount of potential energy you start with is directly related to the kinetic energy you end with. Also supports MA 7.MS-PS3-7.
