As teachers, we're always trying to help our students become better readers.
We work so hard with them during guided, independent, or even small group reading.
Here's a quick way to give your student's new goal while you're reading with them! Just peel off the label and go!
This sheet has three different types of labels for identifying PLOT AND SETTING:
I will identify Plot and Setting by using post-it notes to stop and jot changes in the setting and main events.
I will identify Plot and Setting by looking at how story events relate to one other and how the actions affect the outcome.
I will identify plot and setting by analyzing the illustrations for details that show changes in the settings.
