This document is a huge help because students are able to gain extra practice in literature BETWEEN novels. No longer do students have to wait until they read another novel in order to see the same theme, character motive, metaphor use, etc. again. The quick passages provide close reading, multiple choice, and short response questions in just a few minutes a day. Best of all, students get to review literature skills with genres that they love. The document includes realistic fiction, historical fiction, poetry, informational text, and fantasy stories.
