Playing ¿Quién robó el banco?
After learning about physical descriptions, the most logical game is to play “Guess Who” in Spanish.
Students get to put their knowledge to the test and ask questions about hair color, eye color, if the person wears glasses,or any other description.
The game will be in pairs where one of the pairs will be the police and the other one will be the witness. The witness will describe the person, or in this case the criminal, to his/her partner (police). The role of the police is to guess who the criminal is based on the descriptions given by his/her partner (witness). The police will sketch the criminal based on the descriptions given. The witness will only give 8-10 descriptions. The winner will be whoever can guess the criminal with the least descriptions.
It was 20 degrees in the outside. A person wearing a heavy black jacket, a pullover cap, and dark sunglasses walked into the First American Bank at the corner of _____________ and_____________ in _________________.
The person walked up to the teller and held up a hand grenade for all to see. That person said, "Give me all your money, all the money in this bank, right now!"
Everyone in the lobby screamed and started running, even the security guard. Nervously, the young female teller handed the person three big bags loaded with cash. The security camera did not catch any specific descriptions of the person doing the robbery. Fortunately, there was a witness, who was at a secure spot when the robbery occurred and was able to see who the person committing the crime was.
