When teaching new procedures to my students, I find a visual to be helpful. I created this poster in Spanish to help establish my procedure for ending a paired or group activity and transitioning back to full attention on me. I explain to my students that I want them to have a few seconds to finish the sentence they are in the middle of before giving me their full attention. When I want their attention, I raise my hand and say "Escuchen con silencio en 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" while counting down on my fingers. By the time I get to one, all voices are off and eyes on me. This poster really helps reinforce the concept and includes a visual reminder of the procedure. Packet includes a one page poster, or a two page poster with a larger font to create an extra large poster. I like my procedures in Spanish, and if you do to, this poster is for you!
