Product Description
This worksheet has examples at the top for students to refer to. It explains how quotations are used in dialogue when there are tags at the beginning, middle and end of a sentence.

There are three parts to the worksheet:
Part A: Student needs to add quotation marks and commas.
Part B: Student needs to rewrite the sentences adding quotation marks, commas and capitalizations.
Part C: Student needs to determine if the sentence needs quotations or not. They need to circle yes or no but you can expand this and have the student rewrite the sentences that need quotation marks.

You can laminate the first page to have students put the quotation marks and commas where they belong and be able to easily erase if they are in the incorrect place. If not you need to print out both pages for each student. I suggest having them use a pencil as they may make numerous mistakes if they are just learning!

Enjoy!
