Using quotes from famous athletes, presidents, philosophers, civil rights activist, actors, and musicians is a great way to motivate students in your classroom. Each week, I hang a new quote on my board, write it on my door, we discuss it as a class. The quotes teach students to have good manners, work hard, be unique, never give up, smile, and that they are special and loved.
