Using quotes in your classroom has many benefits and can be a great motivational tool. They can serve as a springboard to create meaningful classroom conversations. After reading a story or book, find a quote that supports the theme and have your students analyze it.
Do you have conflict within your class? Find a quote that addresses the problem and help students to look at situations from a point of view different from their own.
Students gain a deeper understanding of the intended message of a quote when they write about it. Included in this resource are three templates that have different response questions which allows you to differentiate easily. Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 quote templates have the same 150 quotes. Level 2 and Level 3 have an additional 30 quotes.
