R-Controlled Vowel: Matching Monkeys is a file folder game that can be used as a literacy center, set work, interactive bulletin board, or a cut and paste lesson. This activity follows common core standards and guidelines. This is also a great way to build in IEP goals into everyday classwork. You may also use this in a special education class to reteach the –r controlled vowel to students who sometimes need additional practice and a visual representation.
