Our singing squirrels have catchy jingles to help students learn and remember that the letter combinations “er,” “ir,” and “ur” can make the “err” sound in some words. After each mini-song, students read words with r-controlled vowels as our helpful on-screen mouth assists with correct sound formation.

Studies show that using video content as part of a lesson can help with comprehension and retention. This video is a great way to practice reading words with r-controlled vowel sounds.
