PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This R.A.F.T. writing prompt allows students to consider different types of government and citizens rights' through a creative and fun writing process. Students create their own country and laws while examining the differences between a republic and more autocratic government system. They determine the level of government in their country and whether their citizens have will have a constitution that grants more personal freedom or if their government will impose more stringent rules for its citizens. Great for 6-7 grade students. I've used this prompt with my students and even those who didn't like writing got excited about this prompt.
