This final assignment presents four suitable options to students towards the end of Strand B of the 2018 Ontario Grade 8 History Curriculum in the form of a two-part, parallel structure RAFT written research assignment.

The 4 RAFT choices provided to students cover:
• Residential schools
• WWI
• Boer War
• Factories/Industrialization
Included are two student handout sheets, a Rubric in French suitable for immersion students, and bilingual teacher notes to guide in preparing students for this project. The student handout contains a checklist of what needs to be submitted, the specific Ontario History expectations to be assessed and Success Criteria.

Cette tâche finale propose quatre options aux étudiants vers la fin de Partie B du programme d'Histoire de l'Ontario, 8e année (approprié pour la révision du document de curriculum 2018) sous la forme d'une tâche de recherche écrite RAFT en deux parties, en structure parallèle.

Les 4 choix de texte RAFT offerts aux étudiants couvrent:
• Les pensionnats
• Première guerre mondiale (la vie d'un soldat)
• Guerre des Boers
• La vie des ouvriers pendant l’industrialisation

Vous y trouverez deux pages à l'intention des élèves, une grille d’évaluation en français qui convient aux élèves en immersion ou aux élèves francophones, et des notes d'enseignant bilingues pour guider la préparation des élèves à ce projet. Le document de l'élève contient une liste de vérification de ce qui doit être soumis, les attentes spécifiques à l'histoire de l'Ontario à évaluer, les critères de réussite et des suggestions de sources possibles pour leur recherche.
