READ DRAW WRITE Jelly Bean Shish-Ka-Bob Multiplication

It’s a wonderful time for multiplication growth! In this product children will be drawing the pictorial representations of all multiplication facts, 2x-9x. These are the facts that are to be memorized according to the Common Core Standards.

However, standards or not, it is still really important that children memorize their facts.

Having this knowledge expedites the process of multiplication and higher math that involves multiplication.

In addition to showing what each multiplication fact “means” through drawings, the students will write out the fact that the drawings represent.

The “art” required isn’t difficult. If the child could draw an oval and a triangle, that’s all that is needed.

Each times table is Easter themed, but each table focuses on a specific aspect of Easter. This is done for teacher organization. So, each page of the 2x table is about “egg-plants”; 3x table is

about Easter baskets; 4x table- “egg-plants”; 5x table- bunnies & carrots; 6x table- jellybeans;7x table- eggs & platters; 8x table- eggs in bushes; 9x table- jellybeans.

It will take about 20-30 minutes to do one table (4-7 pages each table). My recommendation is to split up the work into 5-7 sessions, which may take a week or so to complete.
