My answer to creating a better system for my Reading Workshop rotations!
We’ve been using the Fountas and Pinnell Reading Workshop as our foundation for reading instruction for about 8 years now, and I am still having trouble getting my head around how to make Guided Reading time work better for me. No, I understand how to help the groups that I work with, but it was what the kids were doing the rest of the time that really had me stumped. Enter my READ acronym board!
