This activity is PERFECT for your students to see first hand how trigonometry can be used in REAL LIFE!
Students will work together to find the height of any real life object, such as the ceiling in the classroom. This file guides students on the what measurements (distance from the object, angle of elevation on a clinometer, or height of eye level of the person) to collect to find the height using trigonometry.
This file is editable in Microsoft Word. You are able to edit the roles, what students are finding the height of, or what unit students should measure with.
