Over the years, I have noticed an increase in the number of students who are lacking fine motor skills. In order to help develop those skills I try and incorporate fine motor activities into my math and literacy stations. Ripping paper is fun way to practice those fine motor skills!
This station requires students to rip construction paper, colored bulletin board paper, colored copy paper, tissue paper, old magazines, etc into small pieces. Students glue the pieces onto each shape, letter, word, or number!
My kids love this and it's a great way to work on shape recognition, formation and those fine motor skills! Great for the classroom or for Occupational Therapy!
This bundle contains packets for basic shapes, numbers 0-20, capital and lowercase letters A-Z, DOLCH pre-primer words and DOLCH primer words.
