Does your school utilize the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessment? Do you use DesCartes to help differentiate your instruction to create meaningful RIT band lessons? If so, you will love this RIT band specific differentiation menu. Using a Tic-Tac-Toe format, students can choose activities to complete to extend lessons that you teach during RBI time, or for additional practice at an independent center after the skills are introduced in a whole-group lesson. Once the students have made a straight line on their Tic-Tac-Toe board, reward them for their hard work.
All activities in this packet are aligned with the skills and concepts that DesCartes lists as concepts to develop at the 171-180 RIT range on the Language and Writing portion of the MAP test.
I have uploaded the PDF version of this file to avoid formatting issues, as I work on a MAC. If you notice mistakes or wish to edit, I would be happy to send you the editable version. Just email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
