Product Description
This story is a sequel to my original Peanut the Poodle story.(However it can also stand on it's own) This activity is slightly more challenging than the original to be used later on in the school year when working through RL 2.3 Describe how characters in a story respond to major events and challenges. This product could be used for your higher level thinking students in a small guided reading group, the story itself opens up many good discussion questions and there is a question set at the end for students to complete. You can read this story as a whole class and project it on your board or it can be done individually as an assessment.
