This lesson introduces and teaches RL 2.6: Acknowledge differences in the points of view of characters.
This lesson begins by teaching students the concept of point of view and how two different characters in a story can have differing points of view. Students are given passages, and they then fill out a chart which identifies each character's point of view. They then find a sentence that is evidence for each identified point of view. Most slides include sentence frames for ELL's and to assist with academic discourse.
This product includes a PowerPoint Presentation, as well as 3 worksheet pages that correspond to the PowerPoint lesson.
