Product Description
RL3.7 Dives deep in the close reading's specific aspects of how a text's illustrations contribute to further understanding literary elements.

The Bones of Fred McFee by Eve Bunting is a perfect Halloween story to share with your students with wonderful illustrations that add to the eerie mood in this wonderful yet creepy poem.

This download includes a powerpoint that goes through each stanza - guiding your students through analyzing each page of the book.

You will need to obtain the book The Bones of Fred McFee by Eve Bunting - it is not included in this resource. You can borrow it from the library or purchase it on Amazon. There are certain sections that you will need to fill in on the powerpoint from a copy or photo of the pages of the book if you would like the class to be able to see parts of the book together. I could not add them myself due to copyright.
