In this extended assignment, students will choose speeches from each of the conventions of 2016 in order to analyze their platforms and the rhetorical techniques used in public and persuasive speaking. This product includes daily grades, a quiz grade, and a test/project/presentation assignment.

Analysis of rhetoric - repetition, parallelism, personal anecdote, connotation, biographical analysis, ethos, pathos, and logos, etc...
Presentations will include speaking, possibly handouts, and use of audio/visual elements.
