Description
This is the story of Rosa Parks. Rosa was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a public bus in Mongomery, Alabama. At that time, there were white sections of the buses where African Americans could not sit. After her arrest, the black community refused to ride the public buses. This boycott helped bring about changes in the laws so all people would have equal rights.
