I am expected to keep data on the interventions that I am doing with my students that are in the RTI process. I wasn't sure how to keep up with it all, so I decided to just put together a resource with all of the skills together. I did not include letters and letter sounds because I teach 1st grade and they all already knew them. I went well past where my low students are so that I could continue to use this with them next year as I am looping with them. Many screeners only have 10 words. I feel this isn't enough to truly determine if they have mastered a skills. Also it doesn't reflect very useful data. I use the RTI data and graph that I have listed to keep up with and track their progress. I laminated mine and used 2 large book rings on the top. I included 2 copies of the record keeping sheet so that you can print them 2 sided.
*I do NOT have the amazing skills of most of the teachers on this site to create beautiful, professional looking items with adorable clip art. But, I do enjoy creating things that I need to help my students. The things I have listed are all things created out of necessity to help my own students. They are simple and practical. I hope they will help your students too.*
