After introducing R.U.L.E.S. for solving inequalities using the powerpoint and handout also available in my store, I walked students through a guided example on this sheet to revisit the idea. I released them to work on two problems independently and then had them do the included problems as a Dominoes Activity.
The way dominoes work, if you haven't used one before, is that I print the dominoes cards onto a colorful sheet of paper before cutting them up, shuffling them, and taping them around the room. In class students go in a scavenger hunt from problem to problem based on correct answers to practice a specific skill. My 9th graders always have fun with dominoes!
