This craft can be used after reading any version of The Tale of Peter Rabbit as a character study of Peter Rabbit. After putting the rabbit together, students can describe the character traits and actions of Peter Rabbit. This activity can also be used to extend and re-visit classroom rules as well as the use of feeling words (scared, trapped, boastful, sick, ashamed, relieved etc.) following a teacher led word-web.
This craft also has an Easter Bunny section which can be used for any sort of Easter activity. Further there is a generic rabbit which can be used for a character study of any rabbit story (Rosemary Wells’ books about Max and Ruby, The Velveteen Rabbit, Jan Brett’s The Easter Egg, etc.)
