Example: “Zachary felt excited on the first day of school”.
•Use the top portion of the paper to do an art project of your choosing. I suggest painting the child’s hand and having them glue a heart di-cut in the middle of their hand or a heart sticker. I also like to take a picture of each child holding the raccoon and the book and then gluing it to their paper.
Writing template 2 (copy on purple construction paper) 1. Have them write their name on the line 2. Paint their hand (yellow paint) and place a heart sticker in the middle 3. Attach their first day of school picture with raccoon 4. Save in a memory book for the end of the year
