Product Description
Being a special education teacher, I have designed this activity to benefit ALL learners: visual, kinesthetic, auditory, even unique learners such as students with dyslexia.

The font that I use is beneficial for all students, because it was designed for students with dyslexia, or students who may just have a tendency to reverse letters.

Each word has a specifically colored background to indicate the anticipated level of difficulty.

ur words- green
ir words- yellow
er words – white

Additionally, letters have visual cues to support students as they are sounding out each word:
Consonants are black
Vowel sounds are red
Long vowel sounds have a line above them to indicate the long sound.
Silent letters are dark grey and smaller than other letters.

How to Use:
Using a toy car, students will roll the car over each sound, saying the sound aloud. (Slowly at first, and then increase speed until they say the word.)

After competing a whole page, students may then refer to their “Self-Check” page to find, read, and check the words they are able to read.
