Race, History and You
A course program for secondary school U.S. History and Human Relations
Race History and You will give students a thorough knowledge of American History from colonial times to the present. Students will learn and accomplish things that they probably never have done in any other class. By the end of the end of the school year, students will have participated in many role- plays, mock trials and debates as well as creating and running a convention in anti-racism. At years' end students will be capable of articulating a range of diverse people's experiences and struggles throughout American History. Additionally, they will be able to explain how and why this history can instruct our current interaction and future behavior as Americans.
